Dog of the week
Congratulations Daisy! Your the winner!
Maggie, you also won, so you’ll be coming in next issue as you got tied with Daisy!
Anyways, Daisy is a cute Bernese mountain dog.
Here’s a link to watch the video on Diasy!
New name!
Charles Darwin inspired the founder and co-founder, but others got inspiration from others, like Ahika, got inspiration for Jane Goodall. So now we are renaming:
NPRO(Nature Protection, and Research organisation)
Website
Their are ups and downs in this, but we are starting a web. Thanks to Canva, we can now easily create a website. Even though this issue came so late, we might need to pause for a bit to work on the web. But by Christmas issue 13 will be out!
This is what we plan to do:
Phase 1:A basic intro, with lots of basic, things like a preview;Should be out by Christmas 2022
Phase 2:Working on adding more facts, and more worksheets. Should be out by March 2023
Phase 3:Lots of stuff added, and ready!Should be ready by Jan 2024
Phase 4:Updates will come regularly, to stuff up stuff even more!
Escape plan:If phase 1 doesn’t come properly, all the facts can come in our newsletter, and we can keep it to try it out but with a different plan!
The ups:
A web! This will have worksheets, facts on nature and much more……
More people will be inspired to protect nature!
Lots more to enjoy!
The downs:
It’s risky, something may go wrong, etc.
The newsletters will get delayed even more.
So we are doing a poll. Since the last idea, NN failed, this will be risky. I still think it is worth a try “No risks, No rewards”, but what do you think?
The “Woof”, “Tweet” and “Meow” section
Woof! Sorry nothing here today…..
Working on the web so not being able to work on the newsletter so much….
Animals Today:Amazing news
Welcome back, Cheetahs!!
As a gift for prime minister Narendra Modhi, 8 cheetahs(5 female, 3 male), were brought from Nambia,Africa and sent to Kuno national park, Madhya Pradesh. They are being kept in quarantine, under observation. 12 more cheetahs are expected to come, from South Africa, this year. This unique cats, the only ones that don’t have retractable claws, don’t roar, and are the fastest animal on earth! The cheetahs are all aged 5-6 years! Let’s welcome the fastest animal back to India after 70 years!
Quick joke:Why don’t animals in Kuno wildlife sanctuary not play cards anymore? Because their are to many cheetahs!
Climate change
How future technology can help save nature
The reason glaciers help keep the planet warm, is because the icy white colour reflects heat and light from the sun, but due to global warming glaciers are melting. So what about this:Painting former glaciers, bright white! All the paint will be expensive but it is cheap compared to the idea after this
We only need to decrease the suns light by 2-4% for the earth to be healthy again. So why not make a umbrella? The plan is to launch billions, trillions of butterfly shaped robots into the air, forming a large umbrella 60,000 miles wide! It’s a good plan, and is sure to help climate change. The question is how? It will be expensive, and take a lot of time!
This is also expensive, but who knows? In the future it may just cost very little! The idea is, when volcanos erupt, the ash creates a shield like things, that reflects the heat from the sun back to space, and lowers the temperature by a degree Fahrenheit for some time. So why not, spray sea salt into the sky from airplanes! The water vapour absorbs, salt particles, and make clouds, that reflect the suns light. But then again, the process will have to go on fffooorrreevvveerrr, and if it stops, the planet will quickly re-warm.
So, while the future can also have bad affects for nature, there also are lots of things it can do to help nature!
