Poem of the issue
So important. Fishes are so important for the eco-system! Tiny, some fish are tiny! Oh yeah! Some are big too! Poachers, stop it, don’t overfish! Overfishing is becoming a big problem. By 2048 all the fish may disappear Very bad. Overfishing is very bad! Every animal depends on another animal. If one species of fish goes extinct, the entire food chain may collapse! Really? The fish population has decreased by 39% in the past 40 years! Fins. Fish have fins! Interesting, fish are interesting So? Are you ready to stop overfishing? How do we stop overfishing? Spread awareness, avoid eating fish etc. Impressive, these fish are most impressive Northern pike is the symbol of North Dakota Goldfish is a common pet fish

Animal of the issue
Fun Facts-
The lime swallowtail, looks exactly like a common Mormon, until it makes a pupa. The pupa looks same and is the same size, but it is lighter and can take up to 26 days in the pupa. When it becomes a butterfly, it has a similar design but the colour is different(yellow)
Fact file-
Size: 9-100 mm Scientific name: Papilio polytes Status: Least concern Phylum: Arthropoda Class: Insecta Order: Lepidoptera Family: Papilionidae Genus: Papilio
Growing up
Each stage is called an instar, the first one being the eggs. The are laid towards on a leaf and are roundish. Then once, they hatch they start looking small fuzzy and black, and as it grows it starts looking like bird poop(to avoid others from eating it), and then looks greenish, with some lines as designs. They then start hanging on a branch and shed there skin, and overnight form a chrysalis hanging by a thread. They then stay like that for a few days, with the changes happening inside, and they start looking darkish. Then after a few days, they come out!

Diary of a Common Mormon
2/11/22
Hi, I am a common Mormon. I got this book for my birthday for turning into the 3rd instar. My fiends stuck some leaves, but they ate some so some pages have holes. I’ll probably eat most of this book but yeah……
3/11/22
Today I ate. Some weird humungous moving things were looking at me for some reason. I also celebrated my friend Catty’s birthday
4/11/22
Today I ate and celebrated turning 4 instars old!
5/11/22
Today was Catter’s birthday turning 5 instars
6/11/22
It ate to much today, and got a tummy ache. I also celebrated turning 5 instars!
7/11/22
I’m making a pupa now….. bye!
17/11/22
Hi! I’m a butterfly! Woo-hoo!
18/11/22
I ate.
29/11/23
I gave birth to some caterpillars! I also gave one my dairy to eat! So bye I guess!
Tips for keeping a Common Mormon
They like lots of plants, including lemon plant, and kuripata. Depending on what plant you find them on keep them there, or if someone gives them to you ask them what plant to put them in.
Praying mantis saves kurrypata plant!
2 sets of eggs of common mormon had been laid on a kurrypata plant, and they gobbled it up! Not many leaves were remaining, and they were hungry. In 2 or 3 days, they would have both died, the plant due to no leaves, and the caterpillars due to no food. And then a hero came! Praying mantis! Senescing the kurrypata plant was in trouble, it came all the way to the 19th floor of a building and ate more than 7! It only spared one!

It was sad for the caterpillars to die, but they would have died otherwise to. Good thing someone ate them before they died!

Overfishing CAS (Cause, Effect, Solution)
Cause
The cause of Overfishing is how and when many people keep fishing and fishing with new strategies to catch more fish which affects the food chain of marine animals.
Effect
The effect of Overfishing can hugely impact the food cycle because if people keep fishing too much all the fish in the food cycle could collapse. Even if one fish species go extinct and then that would be bad for humans because pescatarians would soon starve which is why humans should contribute to no the no Overfishing solution.
Solution
Truth be told there is no full solution to Overfishing but the best solution humans have today is to stop eating fish and spread awareness to others to stop fishing and eating fish. Soon with your small contribution, it could have a big change.
Mealybugs-What are they, what do they do and how to get rid of them
What are they?
Mealybugs fact file:
Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Arthropoda Class: Insecta Order: Hemiptera Suborder: Stenorrhycha Superfamily: Coccoidea Family: Pseudococcidae
What do they do?
They gobble up the sap from the plant. Basically mosquitoes for plants, but they spread fast and are more likely to kill it.
How to get rid of them?
Getting rid of them has to be done the moment one comes. One comes and in 2 or 3 days about 4 nearby plants will get it. As of now, the only one I have tried and works is putting sanitizer in a tissue and scrapping of the mealy bug. And to prevent more from coming, cover the stem in Vaseline
Rising index levels in Delhi. Schools closed!
In the first few weeks of November, Delhi shot up to the most polluted country in the world reaching index levels over 500! Lots of people were buying air purifiers, but they went out of stock. Even places near Delhi, like Noida, were also experiencing severe air quality levels of around 500.
