Sparrows!
China’s biggest mistake:
In the year 1958 the president of China Mao, declared war with the sparrows, as they ate grain and the warehouses of the farmers where empty. Witch was totally wrong. You destroyed there land! What are they supposed to eat. So the president sent out a message to kill all sparrows in 3 days. The idea was to make lots of noise that scares them and burst fireworks and with nowhere to land they will eventually die…..(1)
TERRIBLE! The poor sparrows….
And as for China…… They did not think enough, because soon, all sorts of animals attacked. Worms, grasshoppers, and all sorts of insects. And not only did they destroy the plant’s sparrows ate but more! Soon all the farms were just mud! They got some sparrows from there enemy, the Soviet Union, but that shows how important animals are.
Bird feeders
Setting up a bird feeder is easy! And lots of birds will come. For us sparrows came! It is amazing and fun to watch them, tweet and chirp, fight and munch. It is something I would definitely recommend!
Sparrow girl!
Sparrow girl is a book about the Chinese-Sparrow war, and a historical fiction book, where a young girl saves some of them!
It is a really good book and I would recommend it!

Asia’s wildlife
By Madhav
Asia the world’s largest continent has a lot of world records but most importantly lots and lots of wild life.Let’s find out a few animals from different parts of Asia. We’ll start this by talking about Southeast Asia, there are many countries in Southeast Asia like bangladesh and Myanmar but when it comes to nature India is the best.India is the only country in the entire world that has lions, tigers, and leopards!India used to have cheetahs but then hunters killed them all, that’s why you should never hunt but fortunately India bought cheetahs from An African country called Zambia. Now let’s find out where snow leopards are from. Snow leopards are from Bhutan, Nepal, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Russia, and Mongolia but their population is dropping and we need to protect them. Now some of you may be wondering wow Southeast Asia is amazing but where in Southeast Asia shall I go to?Well Here are a few places in Southeast Asia that you should check out.In the Himalayan region of Nepal there is a hotel called Taj Safaris and it owns chitwan national forest filled with anteaters, birds and much much more.In the morning you can wake up and watch hippos say good morning. You can also go on a river safari and if you're lucky you’ll spot a flying fish or on the land you can spot a tiger.Meanwhile in the hotel you can play ancient board games and eat some delicious pumpkin soup while you watch dancers dance.Another equally as lovely place is the Indian city of Ranthambore. Located in the state of Rajasthan. In this place you can spot loads more tigers than you would in Chitwan. With many lovely hotels like the tigress and Vivanta. For now that’s all of Asia now it’s time to move to another continent!
